Counting to Twenty

“One, Two, Buckle My Shoe” was first printed in 1805. Each pair of numbers comes with a rhyme and a little picture, which makes counting easy to remember.

To “dig and delve” means to dig in the garden. Many families learn only the first verses up to ten, but the full rhyme counts all the way to an empty plate at twenty.
